What’s the Best: Shilajit Capsules, Shilajit Resin, or Shilajit Powder?

Here at Best Shilajit Brand, we work hard to make sure you get the information you need to determine which brand of shilajit is the best for you and your lifestyle. We are often asked whether we recommend shilajit capsules, shilajit resin, or shilajit powder. There are pros and cons to each. Let’s take a look:

Learn about Shilajit Resin

In its purest form, shilajit is tar-like, black, and sticky. Shilajit resin is the closest to the form shilajit is in when it oozes out the mountains in the Himalayas. Because of this, shilajit resin is much less processed than capsules, tonics, and powders.  This means you’ll get more of the vitamins and minerals that shilajit contains, and as a result – you’ll see much more of a benefit in your life. Additionally, it’s much easier to determine if a shilajit resin is quality or not. There’s really no easy way to hide bad product when it is in resin form (click here to learn more about how to recognize quality shilajit).

Shilajit resin is the purest and most potent form, and often is the most beneficial.

Learn about Other Forms of Shilajit

Shilajit capsules, shilajit powders, and shilajit tonics have benefits that shilajit resin doesn’t offer. While these reasons aren’t related to quality or potency, they may have considerable weight in your decision. Shilajit capsules, powders, and tonics are much easier to consume, because the shilajit (which has a strong smoky flavor when in resin form) is encapsulated, or in powder or tonic form, and include other herbs. Additionally, the price is often considerably lower. This comes at a price, however. Often, shilajit capsules, powders, and tonics are packed with fillers: Sometimes, less-reputable business will sell counterfeit product. Thus, there’s really no way to determine how much shilajit you’re actually getting.

Choose Your Shilajit with Care for the Best Outcome

It can be difficult to determine which form of shilajit is the best choice. Our best advice is look at the quality of resin vs other forms of shilajit. Obviously, if you can’t afford shilajit resin, or if the taste or consistency bother you, then capsules, powders, or tonics may be a better choice. In the end, integrating shilajit into your diet depends a lot on your lifestyle and preferences.
